A letter from our founders

Dear families,

We founded Ellipse out of a parent’s wish: that our children would be happy to go to school and, one day, free to choose their future.

Watching our twins flourish in Montessori, we wanted to extend that joy of learning, pairing it with solid academic foundations, bilingualism and an openness to the world.

Some wonderful encounters brought this idea to life. In September 2017, we opened our first class. From the very start, we surrounded ourselves with an experienced, passionate and committed educational leadership team. Since then, Ellipse has grown with its staff and the families who place their trust in us.

Why Ellipse? In the Montessori classroom, the ellipse drawn on the floor helps children develop balance and concentration. It is also a place for gathering and sharing. It represents what we want to offer: a reassuring setting where everyone finds their place, learns to live with others and gains the confidence to move forward.

Together with the leadership team, we bring this project to life every day. We constantly strive to improve our practices and to give our educators the means to support every child. Our mission is to help children grow up in peace, discover their talents and fulfil their potential with strong academic skills.

Our ambition remains the same: to enable them to forge their own path and go on to the university of their choice, in France or abroad.

Ellipse was born from a wish for our children. It grows with the ambition we share for yours.

With warm regards,
Alexia and Tanguy LIESKE
